My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who's looking for a very playful "Doodle mix"? Say hello to Daisy Jane. Daisy is a 4 year old spayed pup with a lot of love to give! She is thriving in her foster home but would like a forever home to call her own.

Daisy loves her humans and there are not enough hours in the day to play, play, play. She loves playing fetch with her favorite Chuck it ball as well as with other high energy dogs. She's crate trained, and house broken. Her foster is pleased that she acclimates well to new environments, loves car rides and window sniffs but must be secured in her harness at all times in the car due to her high drive to seek fun and excitement. She is good with older kids (8+) but a home with younger kids may not be a good environment. She gets overly excited when meeting other dogs, but once acclimated, she just wants to play. She would be best in a home with another high energy dog. Having a yard is a must for this gal. She's leashed trained and loves to go on walks with her humans. She's recently been groomed to remove her unruly mats; grooming on a regular basis will be required to keep Daisy healthy and happy.

She's up to date on all our preventatives and vaccinations. She is so ready to go to her forever home. Will it be yours?

The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration.

When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home.
