Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Fanny is a sweet girl with stunning green eyes (!) and a sweet nature. As a 6-month-old puppy, she learns quickly, motivated by kind words and some treats. She is a bundle of pure joy, ready to find her own person!
Her mom, with her 8 newborn babies, was found in a park by a shelter volunteer who brought her to SOS El Arca Animal Rescue.
Fanny grew up at the shelter and we would love to bring her to New York in January, which is only possible if we find an adopter or foster-to-adopt person.
The shelter is overwhelmed with dogs and we need this beautiful baby to have the life she deserves, not one living in a kennel for months and months.
Fanny is a happy and playful little girl, a typical puppy who is energetic and mischievous. However, with training she will develop into a beautiful dog. Her potty training has begun and will require work from the adopter; crate-training and routine will assist greatly with this.
Fanny is very easygoing pup, gets along well with other dogs, and loves playing with them. She is good with cats also.
We at SOS Animal Welfare believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning, and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.
Fanny is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested, and arrive with a health certificate. She comes to her adopter/foster with a harness, a collar, and two leashes for safety.
If you feel you would be the right fit for Fanny, please fill out an adoption application or email: sosanimalwelfare@gmail.com if you have any questions. We will happily get back to you!
