My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sazu is the sweetest and most gentle girl you’ll ever meet! This 2-year-old girl is ready to give and receive love!

She was hit by a car and left on the side of the road. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan noticed her and immediately brought her to the SOS El Arca Animal Rescue where she got care and shelter. Since her right hip was fractured, she underwent surgery—a femoral head ostectomy—which went very well.

Sazu is already walking and playing!

She is being fostered in Manhattan, New York, with 2 other dogs. Her foster mom takes her to the office every day where she greets people with a wagging tail. She is very friendly and sits next to clients who wait for their appointments and enjoys being petted.

She is very smart and confident. She is not afraid of traffic or city noise. We were surprised that such little girl is so brave!

She walks on a leash very well, and when she sees another dog passing her by, she wants to say hi and play. She is very playful and thinks every dog is a friend. She loves going for walks to Central Park, and jumps out of her bed when she sees Alberto, the dog walker, coming to pick her up. She quickly learned that Alberto means fun time at the park.

She is crate-trained, but she sleeps on her bed with her foster mates. She quickly adapted to her foster dog routine and was quickly accepted. She is very easygoing so will fit into many types of home.

Sazu is simply a gem and you can take her everywhere—the park, dog park, crowded street sidewalks, and coffee shops.
Sazu quickly learned that when her foster mom puts her inside a doggy shoulder bag, it’s time for shopping!

Sazu is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested, and has a health certificate.

Sazu is a bundle of pure love, wrapped in the cutest body, ready for this new chapter of her life! If you feel you can share that chapter with her, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application or email us at sosanimalwelfare@gmail.com. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
