Jenny is a sweet 1 year old female hound mix with a gentle and affectionate nature. She weighs 36 pounds. While she can be shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and enjoys showing her love with kisses. Jenny adores playing with toys and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She is crate trained and easily goes into her crate without a fuss, often seeking it out as a safe space when she feels nervous.

Although she needs some work on her leash skills, Jenny is a good listener and will likely improve with time and patience. She is friendly with children. With her loving personality and adaptability, Jenny would make a fantastic companion for just about anyone. A little attention to leash training is all she needs to truly thrive in a forever home. Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.

More about this rescue

We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.
