Meet Tucker, the teeny-tiny Yorkshire Terrier mix! Weighing less than 8 pounds, this 7-year-old cuddlebug is the ultimate lap dog. Tucker adores being held and will happily jump on your leg to ask for snuggles.
Tucker was once scared and shaking in a shelter, but he’s blossomed in foster care. He’s a sweet, cuddly boy who loves his humans and is great with smaller dogs under 20 pounds. Big dogs, however, are too overwhelming for him. Tucker also thrives in quieter environments with kids over 12 who understand his small size and gentle nature.
While Tucker is working on house and crate training, he’s making excellent progress! He’s decent on a leash and enjoys walks with his family. As a typical yappy Yorkie, Tucker will do best in a standalone home (no apartments or condos, please). He is a barky dog. He will need a family who understands he likes to express himself.
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who’s happiest in your lap, Tucker might be the perfect fit. Apply to adopt him today at bcaaofnj.org.
