Luca is a Boston Terrier mix puppy with a heart as big as his puppy-dog eyes. Life threw him a tough start when his mom passed away during birth, but this little guy has grown up surrounded by love, thanks to the amazing humans who stepped in to help. Luca is as sweet as they come. He's friendly, playful, and adores both people and other dogs. Whether he’s chasing after toys, snuggling up for some quiet time, or exploring the world with his curious nose, Luca does it all with pure joy. This resilient little pup is looking for a forever family to share his love and zest for life. Are you ready to welcome Luca into your heart and home?

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
