Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rudolph is a 4-month-old, outgoing and affectionate kitten looking for his forever home!
This little stripey dude is a spunky and playful kitten. He is a full-speed-ahead kind of guy who is always the first out of his litter to charge ahead and explore new surroundings. His outgoing personality helps him lead the reindeer herd into play sessions and crazy kitten time. After he has burned off some of his kitten energy, he becomes an affectionate lap cat purring up storm while asking for pets.
Rudolph loves to wrestle with his littermates, often winning in the wrestling match. He finds soft cats toys the most exciting as well as wand toys. Tunnels help him show off his stealth, along with tall cat trees he can climb up in seconds. When he isn't playing, he really enjoys snuggling with his humans. He loves curling up in their lap on the couch and getting rubbed all over, including his tummy.
Rudolph starts out his busy kitten day with eating wet food his foster mom gives them. After he has a full belly, it's time for some sprinting around the house and wrestling with his littermates. Afternoon is reserved for naps high up in the cat tree in a big kitten bundle. If he can find a human to curl up with, that is his first choice. In the early evening it is play time again! He gets all his zoomies out before heading to bed.
Rudolph currently lives in a foster home with his mam cat and littermates. There are adult cats and dogs in the home as well. He does great with other cats and large dogs. Since he likes a very active, roughhousing styoe of play, Rudolph would do best with older children.
This handsome guy's ideal home is one with another active, playful cat or kitten that will play with him and snuggle with him. Because of his young age, Rudolph will need to be adopted with one of his siblings (check out any of the other ""Christmas"" themed kittens) or into a home with another friendly young cat to show him the ropes. He would do well in a moderately busy home that could provide him with lots of love and affection, with people who are around a lot. He has been well socialized with a wide range of ages of humans from 4-80.
He has his neutering appointment on 12/14; after that, this charming fellow is ready to guide your sleigh right to Pet Haven to come bring him home!
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
