Bear is an energetic and loving Jack Russell mix who is looking for his forever home! He is super friendly, loves kids, and gets along well with other animals, including cats, dogs, and even rabbits. Bear is particularly fond of playing with toys, especially balls, and he's always up for a cuddle. Despite his playful nature, he also enjoys lounging and sleeping by your legs.
Behavior and Training
Friendly: With both familiar people and strangers, though he may be a bit fearful at first and can growl or snap if scared.
Social: Loves other dogs and gets along well with cats.
Playful: Enjoys chasing and playing with cats, and loves all kinds of toys.
Protective: A good barker who is protective of his home and family.
Training: House-trained, as long as you take him out when he signals. He’s working on crate training and still has the occasional accident.
Special Notes
Diet: Currently eating Purina Dog Chow Chicken, 2 cups twice a day.
Routine: Loves to wake up around 6 AM for potty breaks, with regular walks and playtimes throughout the day.
Quirks: Bear loves to get in the shower if you shower and enjoys sleeping in bed. He’s a huge cuddle bug and loves to be petted.
Behavioral Concerns: Bear is not 100% with male dogs and can be a bit destructive if left unsupervised, having chewed on walls, clothes, and toys in his current home.
Ideal Home
Bear would thrive in a home with other dogs and children, where he can get plenty of playtime and attention. He loves being around people and other animals, and he would do best in an environment where he isn’t left alone for long periods.
Bear is ready to bring joy, love, and a bit of playful chaos into his new home. If you’re looking for a lovable, energetic companion who will keep you entertained and offer endless cuddles, Bear could be the perfect match for you!
