Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Blondie is a senior gal rescued from a neglectful owner, she is 13 and as would be expected has some arthritis issues. She was with 60% hair loss and inflamed skin due to fleas, emaciated, and noted to have cracked, worn down, broken teeth in the very front upper and lower, wounds to the pads on her front paws that our vet states indicates trying to dig in or out of something. She is slowly gaining weight on a prescription diet and her fur is starting to grow back. She would be special needs in that she is a very senior gal.

More about this rescue
At Cleo's Legacy, we are committed to making a positive change in the lives of homeless dogs. Our organization was founded in 2024, after founder, Alex Siska, lost her soul-dog & lifelong companion to old age.
Cleo helped pave the way for rescue work when she was brought home infested with parasites as a baby. Cleo’s brilliant joy, empathy, and love introduced Alex to open her heart for dogs found on the street and at local shelters. Through volunteer work, we saw a need when we realized there were very few volunteers in the Bracken County area, and even less funding. These predicaments didn’t stop the shelters influx of dog dumps and continued over-capacity.
Since then, Cleo’s Legacy has been dedicated to providing a variety of services for homeless dogs - including fostering, adoption, medical care, and funds toward training. We believe in the power of community and working together to make the world a better place.
