We have had Kat for a year and half now. She was a stray cat that I found underneath my truck seeking water and food on a hot summer day. After I fed her and gave her water, she fully trusted me and we brought her inside to take care of her. We tried to see if she had an owner but had no luck with that so we decided to keep her rather than move her to a shelter. She is absolutely wonderful with us but she is aggressive with our 2 other female cats. We had 4 other cats (2 male and 2 female) before we brought her in. She has never had any issues with the male cats but she started to get into fights with our female cats and resulted in our 2 females always being on high alert and don’t feel comfortable in their own home now. We feel terrible for rehoming Kat but we feel it’ll be the best thing to do. It’s recommended for whoever decides to adopt her that they either have no other pets or male cat(s). We don’t know if she is spayed as well.
