Mika, the beautiful girl with amazing green eyes, came into rescue with 6 newborn kittens. She was a loving, attentive mother, her kittens always came first. Now that all her kittens have gone to loving homes, it`s Mika`s time to shine. And shine she does! Mika loves a lap to sit in while she receives pets, head and chin scratches, all the while purring up a storm. She is very affectionate. We think Mika was probably attacked by other cats as she is very defensive and so she needs to be an only cat. We are not sure how she would be around other dogs as she wasn`t exposed to them in rescue. She eats dry food but loves to have a little wet food each day as well, fish varieties should be avoided, as we suspect she may have an allergy to fish. She is good about using a tall sturdy scratching post, getting her nails trimmed, and she is litter box perfect. Mika loves a window to look out and tall perch or chair to nap on. She has only recently learned to play with toys, she loves balls and little stuffed mice and will play with her turbo chaser. Most of all Mika wants a special person or family she can call her own, where she is safe and loved. She deserves that much. We hope you come to meet Mika; she`s waiting for you.
