Sophie is an energetic and playful 6-month-old mix breed puppy who loves to explore the world around her. With her curious nature, she’s always ready for an adventure, whether it’s a walk, playtime, or discovering new sights and smells. Despite her boundless energy, Sophie is also a sweet and affectionate pup who enjoys cuddling with her favorite people. Her bright eyes and joyful spirit make her an instant ray of sunshine wherever she goes. As Sophie grows, she’s sure to be a loving and loyal companion to any family lucky enough to have her.

Our adoption requirements are as follows:

We encourage that all members of the family come and visit with the animal (especially children). We do not adopt pets as gifts.

Homes that currently own one or more dogs and are looking for another will have to complete a dog meeting to ascertain compatibility.

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
