Why I need a new home

Behavioral issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loki is a 6 month old puppy and very, very energetic. He is very smart and inquisitive. He does not have behavioral issues but there wasn't a category to describe why I am rehoming him. I got him from a friend and thought I could handle him. He is leash trained but would do well in a fenced backyard. He is also crate trained but primarily only sleeps in the crate. He knows some commands but is still learning others. I am 73 years old and don't have the energy to match his. He will let you know when he needs to go out. However, if he gets really excited he may pee in the house if you don't notice the signs that he has to go. He hasn't been around small children because my youngest grandchild is 14. I have a 10 year old male black lab and they get along fine. He will come with his food, bowls and toys. Make no mistake, I do love him but just cannot keep up with his level of energy.
