You’d never believe Maggey is 12 years old if you met her – this beautiful Poodle girl still has SO much pep in her step and she LOVES to play! You’ll find that Maggey loves people – she will run right up to new people and start making friends. If you're lucky, she might show you just how much she loves you with a lick on the nose, too!
Maggey is an easygoing gal and she’s got brains as well as beauty! She’s very treat motivated and loves her snacks - being a good listener makes her easy to train! At only 19 pounds, she is a dream to walk on a leash, too.
Maggey is housetrained – she will give a little bark to let you know it’s time to go outside. Not being a fan of the crate, you’ll find that Maggey doesn’t need to be crated when you aren’t home as she’s very well behaved in the house. Because she can be a bit of a barker, we would not recommend Maggey for apartment or condo (any attached unit) living.
In her previous home, Maggey lived with dogs and she currently gets along well with her foster sibling. She can occasionally be leash reactive but she is fine with dogs when she’s off her leash. As for cats, she has had no exposure to them.
Maggey’s ideal home would be a single family house with a fenced in yard as Maggey loves to investigate and elevators maker her nervous. Maggey is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines - she's move in ready!
If you're looking for a beautiful little girl, please check out Maggey! Fill out an adoption application at www.northstarpets.org and be sure to ask for her by name! The adoption fee for this beauty is only $250!
NOTE: We do not believe Maggey is hypoallergenic or low shedding.
