Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Malawi may have started life as the runt of the litter, but she’s grown into a playful, loving cat with a soft side. She’s best friends with her sister, Mozambique—they’re the ultimate duo, sharing toys, chasing feathers, and napping together like two peas in a pod. Her favorite toy? A tiny mitten she carries around proudly, making happy little noises like she’s just caught her prize!
Malawi has strong hunting instincts and loves chasing lasers, trackball toys, and anything feathered. When she’s not pouncing after a toy, she can often be found gazing out the window, watching the world go by. She’s an independent spirit who prefers not to be picked up or held, but she’ll happily curl up near you to nap or sit in your lap during your morning routine.
This sweet girl is a little more reserved than her sister, with a tender, thoughtful nature. She can be jumpy at loud sounds or sudden movements, so a quieter home would help her thrive. While she’s adapted wonderfully after her early days in a basement, she still shows some anxiety and benefits from patient love and reassurance. She has a playful side too—she loves burrowing under covers to attack feet or chase a cord when she thinks no one’s looking!
Malawi gets along well with the resident dog (a calm, smaller breed) and might do fine with a dog companion who respects her space. Though she’s a little nervous around young children, she could adapt with time and understanding.
She’s looking for a home where she can feel safe and loved. Malawi could handle solo cat life, but her bond with Mozambique makes them a perfect pair for someone ready to double the love. Are you the one to give her the quiet encouragement and affection she deserves?
Please note she currently lives in a foster home with her sister.
