My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nicholas, the lovable, easygoing Labrador who's as sweet as can be—just like Old Saint Nick himself. At 1-2 years old and 62 pounds, this pup is the ultimate teddy bear. Whether he's strolling peacefully on his leash or lounging around, Nicholas is always laid-back and ready to relax with his humans.

Nicholas is a social guy too getting along effortlessly with other dogs, making him a perfect addition to a family looking for a chill, friendly companion. This big fella is on his way up from Mississippi to New Jersey and can't wait to find a forever home where he can share all his love and affection.

If you’re ready to bring this gentle soul into your life, apply for adoption today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application —he’ll be the best present you could ask for, no matter the season!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
