We are crushing so hard on The Grinch. He’s this beautiful, silky soft sweetheart of a boy. He falls in love with everyone pretty much instantly. And, once you’re his BFF, he cannot get close enough to you. He’ll lean his whole body into you and try to climb up on your shoulders and head, if you’ll let him.
The Grinch got a crash course in socialization when he was fostered for a couple of weeks before his neuter surgery by a couple of college students.
His foster writes,
“We love him SO much. He is extremely friendly and adorable. He never once had an accident in our apartment and was very clean. He does love to scratch the furniture, but randomly nothing ever got ruined despite his super sharp nails. He is cuddly when he wants to be, and extremely playful, which was the only issue as we are sometimes lazy and he wanted to play with us.
He loves fishing rod toys and any cardboard box or paper bag (see attached picture of him inside a bag). Most of the time he just wants to sleep on a green chair in our home he became attached to.
He is very bitey, but in the way that cats are when they love you and just want to play— he never broke skin, just had to watch out for my chin cause he would love-bite!
He slept with me every night under the covers. He’s the cutest best kitty and we would’ve kept fostering him forever but we hope someone adopts him!“
