Hi, I'm Coconut but my friends call me Coco.

I'd like a house with a lot of head scratches and liver treats. Please adopt me. That is all.

Oh wait...the rescue is saying, I should say a little bit more about myself, so here goes.

I was once a stray and kept on hanging outside a house where there were dogs, hoping they'd take me in. Fortunately for me the kind lady did so and I got to live with her, her 4 year old son and their lovely dogs. I was so happy there but she couldn't keep me as she had dogs of her own. I'm now living with a foster family and looking for my forever home. I'm very gentle and so sweet.

I'm a little bit shy when I'm first getting to know you, but gentleness and encouragement really help me come out of my shell. I love to be around calm and kind people who show me it's safe to myself. I live with kids and I really love them. A home with kids (as long as they were gentle and respectful) would be perfect for me! I'd also love another dog to live with since I like having a buddy to show me the ropes and help me feel more confident.

I'm a very sweet girl. I don't bark, guard, or pull on leash. I love to be around people and will happily stay nearby as you go about your day. I like to play outside and can get a little silly out there: jumping and rolling around!

I've got tons of love to offer, and please see above about the head scratches and liver treats. I'm such a good girl, with such a gentle spirit that I just know you'd be happy you brought me home.

We have an application process. All applications are subject to reference checks, home checks. All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and must adhere to requirements stated in this contract, and follow ups are done post adoption. Please contact us about adoption fees. Our rescue is solely run by volunteers, we strive to return calls and inquiries within a 24 hour period.
