My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello!  I am Argenta!!

Look at the eyes on this beauty!!! Argenta is very personable.  She loves to play and hang with her siblings and her foster mom.  She will climb on her lap at treat time and likes to hang out for a little while.  Sometimes she just likes to sit right next to her foster mom while she's working.

Argenta's favorite past time is supervising her foster mom as she scoops out the litter box or sweeps the floor.  She's a purring machine.

Argenta gets along well with other cats including the resident cats at her foster home.  When she was initially introduced to them, she didn't miss a beat and never showed any hesitation while interacting with them.

Argenta would do well in a home with another cat-friendly cat or with one of her siblings.  She may do well as an only cat eventually, however this group of 4 siblings are so good together and with other cats that it is clear that she and all of her siblings would thrive better as the second or even third cat.

Argenta was born around August 9, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Middlefield with her siblings Harry, Tommy and Ivy. She is fixed, has had her rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.

Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org.

Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

Meet the Pet

We are a foster-based rescue. All our cats reside in private homes. A meet-and-greet can be arranged for approved adopters only.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.fosterandforever.org. If all is well on your application, we will contact you about setting up a home visit by one of our volunteers.

**Please give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references.

The adoption fee for our cats covers the cost of spaying/neutering, age appropriate routine vaccinations, deworming, snap test, and flea preventive treatment. Some of our older cats are offered at a reduced fee in order to encourage placement in a permanent home.

Thank you for your interest in adopting from Foster and Forever Pet Rescue!

NOTE: For the safety of our cats and adopter’s children, families with children under 5 years of age will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Go meet their pets

All of our pets reside in foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Once an application is approved (for any cat), arrangements can be made to meet the cat of your choice.

More about this rescue

Foster and Forever Pet Rescue Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue that was founded in 2011. We have been working since then to improve the lives of abandoned, abused and homeless animals by serving as an umbrella under which foster homes will provide care for homeless animals until loving permanent homes can be found.

We provide spay/neuter services and all necessary medical care, as well as food and supplies, and find foster homes to care for the animals we rescue until we are able to find them forever homes. For additional information, visit our web site at www.fosterandforever.org, and be sure to check us out on Facebook and Instagram.
