Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What a beautiful baby girl! Introducing Blue October, a 1-year old, 28-pound Australian Kelpie/Rat Terrier mix who is friendly, affectionate, fun, and smart. What more can you ask for?
Housebroken, crate trained, and excellent on a leash, Blue October, or Foxy (as her foster calls her) for short, comes pre-loaded with lots of good stuff. She responds to the commands sit, touch, drop it, and off, and genuinely wants to learn more. A real foodie, give her a treat and she will show you the world! An adventurous type, Bluey enjoys being outside, going for walks, and taking car rides. She’s a beach lover too! Bluey is the ultimate sidekick and will go wherever you lead her…and will be happy just to be together.
Bluey gets along fabulously with humans and other dogs. She greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and heart full of love. She plays very nicely with her pooch pals and is excellent at reading their body language, as to if/when they’ve had enough. A good sharer, Bluey lets you take her beloved toys away and remove her food bowl without incident.
At home, when Bluey isn’t busy throwing her squeakies around or playing fetch, she turns into a SUPER cuddly snuggly doll who thinks she is a lap dog. No amount of petting, scratching, or massaging is too much for this love bug. The closer she can get to you, the better. She will shower you with kisses and hugs the minute you come home or the second let her out of her crate. If you’re looking for a sweet, intelligent, active young dog who loves to be loved, then bring this baby home. What a perfect way to start the new year!

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
