My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valentine was nervous at first with her 3 adopted littermates Avocado, Taco and Licorice, but after a day she was running around and playing/cuddling with her 3 new sisters. She likes to play and is very energetic. She’s not too sure about big dogs yet, but she is getting better. She likes to grab your hand when she’s playing to pull it in to pet her. Valentine was rescued by a veterinarian who found her when she was only 4 weeks old and fending for herself outside an office building in Miami.

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
