My story

Honey & Jax are an amazingly sweet senior duo looking for a retirement home.

Their whole world was turned upside down when they were relinquished last week due to personal issues with their family. Honey is 13 years old, Jax 9 and they’ve spent their whole lives together. Honey has been very sad and shut down, but Jax is always looking out for her. These babies don’t have a mean bone in their body and just want to curl up in your lap.

Honey had some medical issues that were taken care of, she had infected teeth pulled and a lipoma removed from r her leg. She and Jax both suffer from dry eye and have just started medication to help.

Do you have it in your heart to welcome these gentle dogs into your home?!

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are limited to a 50 mile radius of the shelter.

PAWS adopts adult dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens, into appropriate, adoptive homes.
Kittens (6 months and under): $125.00
Cats (over 6 months): $65.00
Senior cats (over 7 years old): $25.00

Puppies (6 months and under): $275.00
Dogs (over 6 months): $250.00
Senior Dogs (over 7 years old): $125.00

For all animals, the adoption fee includes:

1. Basic vaccinations appropriate to the animals age.
2. Spay or neuter.
3. AVID Microchip or 24 hour Petwatch Microchip registration.
4. Rabies vaccination for dogs and cats over 4 months.
For cats the fee includes a feline leukemia test, FIV test, cat carrier, a collar and ID tag.

For dogs the fee also includes a heartworm test, collar, leash, ID tag.
