Why I need a new home

Found or abandoned

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Boomer, a 3 year old lab/pit mix. I found him on the side of the road & was able to get ahold of his previous owners, but they want to rehome him. They originally adopted him from a shelter as a puppy so he’s used to being in a home. I’m looking for anyone who wants to foster or adopt. He is super sweet & gets along with both mine & my neighbor’s FEMALE dogs, although I was told he doesn’t like small dogs & he doesn’t appear to like male dogs. He knows how to sit/shake and just loves love. He wasn’t taken care of very well and had super long nails, one of which unfortunately got caught & came out. I took him to the vet & it’s now wrapped & he has antibiotics so it doesn’t get infected. I also had his nails trimmed & went ahead and got him on flea/tick prevention medicine. I’m leaving Saturday the 21st and really hope I can find him a home before then for Christmas. Please reach out if you’re interested!
