Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
From his foster:
At 16 years old, Friday is living out his Golden Years and hopes to find a family who will make him feel loved and spoiled till the end.
He has one or two back teeth, but his tongue permanently hangs out.
It's pretty adorable!
Friday LOVES to go for strolls in the backyard! He looks like a pup on a mission, marching around sniffing and exploring! He is blind but has gotten to know the lay of our land (yard and house) very quickly.
We have 3 other dogs (15lbs-65lbs). They don't mess with him, but I've caught them snuggling on the bed during nap time. He's also fine with cats.
Friday enjoys being picked up but does like to walk around the house, too. He has a habit of marking (that we're not going to break at this point), so we use a dog belly wraps which has been an easy solution.
He'll bark when he wants to go out, eat, snuggle, or get off the bed. He can't hear that well... maybe at all... so we like to put our hand close to his nose when he's sleeping or when we're about to pick him up.
He's a little skinny, so we're feeding him 4 times a day currently. We mix wet food, a little dry kibble and a little warm water. Maybe a chicken nugget once in a while.
We absolutely love him and hope someone with a heart for senior pets falls for him soon! We'd adopt him, but we stick to fostering so the next senior doesn't have to stay in a kennel while waiting for their family.
