Hello! I’m Chocy Chip and I’m the best gentleman you’ll ever meet! I love to give kisses and cuddles to my siblings and foster mom. I’m 9 weeks old and love to play with my foster siblings, even though they’re much bigger than me.

I sleep in a crate at night, but I don’t like being in one alone without someone in the room. I’m not fully potty trained yet and I’m a little stubborn about it. I know I’m supposed to run to the back door as soon as the crate door opens, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten.

I don’t know what kids or cats are, but I bet they’d love kisses and cuddles too!

I’d love to meet you and make your family and Christmas complete.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Application and more info may be found at: peaklabrescue.com/adopt. Please allow 24 hours for your application to be reviewed.

2.
Meet the Pet

If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $325 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.

4.
Take the Pet Home

If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $275. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.

Additional adoption info

You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.

Peak Lab Rescue is the largest foster-based dog rescue in North Carolina. We do not have a facility, all of our dogs live in homes where they can learn the skills to be successful family members.

Our Mission is to end dog homelessness in North Carolina. We save Lab Mixes and other dogs from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and high-kill shelters.
