My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hank, a gentle soul who enjoys the simple things in life. He has a penchant for curling up in a cozy corner with a soft blanket, content with just being near you. Hank might be a bit timid at first, but once he warms up to you, his sweetness shines through. He appreciates quiet moments, making him the perfect companion for someone seeking a peaceful presence. Hank is also an expert at `cat yoga`, and his serene stretches can inspire relaxation in his human friends. Adopting Hank means inviting a soft-spoken friend into your life who will bring calmness and companionship. If you`re seeking a serene companion to share your quiet moments with, Hank could be the perfect match for you.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
