This pet is available for adoption in a foster home. To adopt them, please email us at SDCadoptions@sdhumane.org and provide a good callback number.
At SDHS:
Juan has been vaccinated, microchipped and is neutered. He is now ready for his new home!
Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Juan! This senior house panther is looking for a nice cozy spot on your couch to live out his Golden Years. Juan is quite a stoic fella, but don't let that fool you...he's a softie at heart! While it will take some time for Juan to adjust to all of the changes in his life, with patience, gentle interactions, and lots of love, Juan will blossom and show his truly wonderful puurrrrr-sonality! Juan has had litter box concerns in the past, but we believe they stem from living with other pets, so Juan would likely do best as an only pet. In his foster home where he is the only pet, he has had no accidents. A volunteer who recently socialized with Juan for an extended period noted that he was very affectionate, he played, he gave kitty kisses AND as she was leaving him, he confidently walked to his litter, jumped in and did his business. His foster family reports say that he loves petting for longer than their arm can take!! If you're looking for a cat to match your mellow, relaxed lifestyle, Juan just may be the kitty cat for you!
