My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Wilson, a sweet and loving 12-year-old dachshund. This little guy has been the apple of his dad’s eye for over a decade, but life is bringing changes for his devoted dad, who at 83 years old is moving into assisted living. Wanting only the best for Wilson, he called Terri at Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue. Of course, Terri said yes to helping Wilson find a new forever home. ✨

Wilson has been deeply loved and incredibly well cared for. He’s neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and in great health! Despite his senior status, Wilson still has plenty of love and companionship to give. He’s ready to bring joy and warmth to a family that will love him just as much as his dad always has. ❤️

Let’s make this Christmas extra special for Wilson by helping him find his new forever family. If you or someone you know would be the perfect match for this sweet little dachshund, please reach out!

Together, we can give Wilson the greatest gift of all—a forever family this holiday season.

More about this rescue

We bring in the senior dogs and medically needy dogs.
We are a small rescue making a difference in the world. No dog deserves to dumped in a shelter after giving their entire life to a family.

I had locked myself away from the world back in 2010. I saw this tiny ShihTzu on the news that had been saved from a puppy mill bust. I adopted Princess Reagan Marie and she saved my life. I wanted to help other dogs so I started fostering. In May 2021 I open my rescue.
