HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM TEDDY BEAR! Three-year-old Teddy, his littermates and mom Daisy were abandoned in a California house when their person died. They were nearly starved to death when they were found by a Good Samaritan who nursed them back to health. Then the landlord found out about them and demanded that they leave, so they were rescued! Teddy can be a bit shy at first but will warm up quickly to his new person or people. He is very bonded to his mom, Daisy, and we are hoping to adopt them together. Teddy weighs 65 lbs. We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is an active 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Ventura, Calif. We rescue dogs and cats primarily from overcrowded California shelters, and do our best to find wonderful homes for them. We also take in many owner surrenders every year. We adopt dogs to people in many states, and have a high success rate with our adoptions. We do our best to match people with the right dogs.
