Meet Rocco!

Rocco is a sweet, smart boy who is ready for his furever home! While he’s pretty quiet in the kennel, he’s always eager for attention and companionship. Rocco is a clean dog, keeping his space tidy and neat, and he walks like a pro on a leash.

His previous owner suggests that Rocco would do best in a home where he’s the only pet, as he had some challenges getting along with his sister. He’s wonderful with kids and loves to be around people, making him a fantastic companion for a family looking for a loyal friend.

Although Rocco can be a bit stubborn about baths at first, once he’s in the tub, he’s a total champ and doesn’t mind the process at all. If you’re looking for a smart, sweet, and loving dog who will thrive as your one-and-only, Rocco might just be the perfect match!

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
