My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COOPER

A ‘surprise’ litter after a family brought a female dog home and she went into labor June 11, 2024 - the pups needed a forever plan (DNA tests identified Swiss Shepherd, German Shepherd & Labrador). Fostered with children and other dogs, Cooper prefers to be with other dogs to gain confidence and held by people, he is shy and needs time to warm up to new public places. He sleeps belly up on a dog bed and is a very smart puppy. His ears now STAND UP and his shepherd side is showing. He has a bark during play and likes to learn things.

Neutered, up to date on vaccines and on prevention. He will be a large dog.

Age: 6 months old (born June 2024)
Favorite Color: Blue
Favorite Toy: Nylabone Textured Chew Ring
Favorite Food: Apple Crunchie Treats

Fostered in Texas. *Adoption Fee includes transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement: Volunteers Fueled by Caffeine and Compassion to help Care for Dogs in Today's Pet Crisis in Texas.

Our dogs come from at-risk shelters in TEXAS -focused on Fort Bend Co/Brazoria Co/Galveston Co/Harris Co., partnerships to help dogs in rural areas in South Texas and urgent Owner Surrenders due to loss or tragedy.

We are a small rescue and every things counts - every penny and each donation is a blessing. Most of the dogs require neuter, heartworm treatment and medications for various illness/injury before being cleared for adoption. Our dogs receive quality care in food, toys and hygiene while they recover and wait for forever homes.
