Fuzzy is a sweet little pooch, thought to have a DOB around 6/2022 and weighs about 15#. He can be initially shy so we are looking for a patient home with no kids or kids over 12. He loves lounging and exploring outside, so a home with a yard would be ideal. Here is what Fuzzy's fostermom has to say about this sweetheart:
Fuzzy is a young dog looking for a loving family who can appreciate him! Fuzzy comes with some qualities that make him an ideal pet for the right home:
*Training & Adaptability:*
- Crate trained and house trained (with supervision)
- Comfortable using a dog door
- Beginning to learn commands and wants to please
- Self-entertaining with toys
*Social Personality:*
- Gets along well with small dogs
- Initially shy with strangers but warms up
- Becomes loving once he feels comfortable
*Ideal Home Environment:*
- Preferably a home with smaller dogs or as a solo pet. Unknown if he gets along with cats
- Owners who can provide plenty toys and play time/walks
- Patient family willing to help him build confidence
- Home that understands his initial wariness of new people
Fuzzy is more than just a pet - he's a loyal friend waiting to bring joy and companionship to the right family. His combination of playfulness, trainability, and affectionate nature makes him a wonderful potential addition to your home.
Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Our Mission Statement...
Sacramento Independent Animal Rescuers is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our purpose is to aid stray, abandoned, and neglected animals. In addition to animals rescued and adopted by our organization, SIAR is also dedicated to help other independent animal rescuers find their foster animals the loving homes they deserve. To date, thousands of dogs and cats have been rescued and placed into wonderful homes in the past few years. In order to provide these services, we work with the community shelters, rescue organizations, and individuals who have animals with special needs and place these animals in permanent homes after they reach a stage of wellness.
Our mission is to provide loving, permanent homes for animals that have been abused, abandoned, or lost, which otherwise would not be with us today. Many of our rescued animals, especially those that were rescued from the shelters initially had kennel cough, pneumonia, or giardia with the extreme cases having the parvo or distemper viruses. In addition, a high percentage of animals are malnourished and require special dietary demands. We rely on tax deductible cash donations as well as food and other pet supplies that will allow us to continue to save lives!
**** WE ARE IN GREAT NEED OF DONATIONS AS MANY OF THE ANIMALS WE RESCUE HAVE COSTLY MEDICAL PROBLEMS AND ARE CONSIDERED NON ADOPTABLE AT THE SHELTERS - WE HOPE TO GIVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE AT A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE****
All of our companion pets, have been neutered or spayed, given all current vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped. This also provides the community with healthier animals and aids in the reduction of the outspread of illness and future homeless offspring.
The adoption fee for animals being adopted by SIAR can range from $75-$100 (for kitties) and $150-$350 (for dogs) depending on the animal and associated costs. The adoption fee helps up recooperate the thousands of dollars spent yearly on rehabilitation and allows us to continue to rescue animals in need.
Please be sure to click on the animal you are interested in. The corresponding biography will let you know which rescuer you need to contact to learn more about that wonderful pet.
Disclaimer: Due to the limited time spent with the rescued animals, Sacramento Independent Animals Rescuers is not responsible for the health, behavior or temperament of the animals listed or adopted by this group.
