Hey there, I'm Heron, the kitten with a knack for adventure! I wound up at the shelter after I mistook a mail truck for a giant cat toy. The mailman was so surprised, he dropped me off here! I'm quite the character, always ready to explore or invent a new game. But don't let my energy fool you, I love a good snuggle and being carried around like your personal baby. I'm a curious and playful furball who's sure to keep you entertained. If you're looking for a loyal friend ( or two) with a sense of humor, I'm your guy! Adopt me and my brother, Thanatos, and let's create our own hilarious stories together! Adoption Fee is $85.00 or adopt both my brother, Thanatos and me, also for $85 with our adopt one get one kitty program!

These adorable and handsome boys are officially available for adoption! Thanatos and Heron are just shy of four months old and are super sweet. Both love to be petted and ADORE canned food! Heron has a super power motor and they both just love to play together! Litterbox trained, loves the scratching posts, neutered, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and FIV/FELV negative!

All available cats are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, Feline Leukemia tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer . The adoption fee for each cat is $85.00. We always offer 2 for 1 adoptions.

Adoption fees: Cats $85, Dogs $150+Adult dogs over 15lbs, $100 Senior dogs 8yrs +, $200+ Puppies under 6 months and Small breed dogs
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, heartworm test (dog), and Fleuk test (cat).
Application and home visit required for each adoption.

Most of our available animals are in foster homes, not at the city shelter. We hold adoption outreach events most Sundays from 3-6pm in Yukon, OK. Those and any other events are listed at https://www.facebook.com/fomasok/events
A private meet and greet with a pet can also be scheduled after an application is submitted.

Friends of Metro Animal Shelters, formerly known as Friends of the Mustang Animal Shelter, was established in 2013 to support the local shelter in Mustang. Through our efforts, and the support of our amazing community, FOMAS has grown and now helps save animals from all of the Okc Metro with our network of foster homes.
