My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Precious! This lady's personality is right in line with her name. She may be senior, but she's got a zest for life that will make you think she's a kitten at heart. Precious loves pets, churu treats, and longggg naps in her window. Her soft coat and warm demeanor is sure to bring comfort to any home. Come meet her today!

Precious is eligible for our senior-for-senior program, which waives adoption fees for senior animals for adopters age 65 and over. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. You can meet Precious at the CASPCA between 12 and 6 PM daily, no appointment necessary. For more information, email us at adoptions@caspca.org.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
