My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Emma, a sweet and gentle soul who was born in a loving foster home, where she spent her first year waiting for a forever family that, sadly, never came. Now in a shelter environment, Emma is struggling to adjust and spends much of her time hiding. Despite her shyness, she is still as sweet as ever and welcomes gentle pets from kind hands. Emma has a history of getting along beautifully with other cats and even a dog in her foster home, making her a great companion for a multi-pet household. She’s patiently waiting for someone to show her the love and stability she deserves—could that be you?

Anytime during open hours, no appointment needed. We also house adoptable cats at the Horseheads and Ithaca PetSmarts as well as Sondra's City Zoo in Elmira. Every other month, we alternate off-site adoption events between IRFCU in Sayre, PA and the Williamsport PetSmart.
