My name is Suki!

Suki is 4 years old and needs a very special family that is calm, quiet and patient. The shelter we took her in from said Suki was surrendered to them nearly a year ago by an irresponsible owner through no fault of her own. She was so stressed in the shelter that she scratched herself raw and licked off large patches of fur. She was subsequently placed in a foster home where she has flourished and her fur has grown back beautifully. Suki needs a little time to warm up in new situations but seeks affection and will snuggle right up against you or in your lap. She would probably do best in a quieter home without young children to stress her out, since she can be a bit anxious about loud noises. She’s been in shelter care for nearly a year - this is the season of miracles, and we believe there is a miracle out there waiting for Sweet Suki. Could you be her miracle?
