Luna is a sweet little cuddle bug! She loves to be near her people or other furry friends. She loves to play and would do best in a home with another dog. She likes cats too if they like her. She can take a hint if they don’t wanna be best friends.

Luna is very smart— a quick learner. She understands “no” “sit” and “come here.” She’s doing well with potty training and settles down fairly quickly with crate training.

Luna is going to make an awesome companion! She would do best in a home with other dogs or where someone is home most of the time. Come meet her today!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
