My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ollie is a charming little guy with wavy black fur and a white patch on his chest. His expressive ears flop outward like those of a lamb, adding to his irresistible cuteness.

Though Ollie is shy and under-socialized, he shows signs of curiosity. He’ll come to the front of his kennel when the door is closed, observing with interest, but he needs time to feel comfortable enough to approach people directly. Tossed treats are a great way to win him over—he’ll happily accept them from a distance.

Ollie would thrive in a calm and mature household where his need for patience and understanding will be met. A confident dog companion could also be a wonderful addition, helping Ollie build trust and grow more secure in his new environment. With the right home and plenty of love, Ollie has the potential to blossom into an incredible companion.

You’re interested in adopting? That’s great! We have many eager candidates who would love to meet you! If you have questions, please call us at 208-788-4351.

$150 Dogs (All ages)
$100 Kittens (Under 1 year, second kitten is free!)
$75 Senior and special needs dogs (7+,add'l care or meds needed)
$50 Cats (1 year and older)

We ask all who are interested in adopting an animal to fill out an adoption application. We interview all potential adopters with the goal of placing an animal with the correct family and compatible lifestyle. This is of prime importance – we endeavor to make this new home the animal’s residence for life. All of our animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving our facility as part of our adoption contract.

The adoption fees include spay / neuter costs as well as any vaccinations administered at the shelter. All animals are microchipped and your adoption fee covers the cost of a dog license for all of our Blaine County residents. You’ll also go home with a bag of food and a bag of goodies for your new pet!
