My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rita is an extremely affectionate cat. She was left behind by some neighbors who moved away. We have been feeding her for the past three months. However, we realized she cannot defend herself and often shows up injured. The last time this happened, we decided to bring her inside to treat her wounds. She is currently receiving medication, has been dewormed, and is improving.

Unfortunately, we cannot keep her as we already have other cats in the house, including one who is 15 years old and very stressed by Rita’s presence.

Rita is incredibly loving, always asking to be held. Despite being brought indoors, she hasn’t complained at all. Even when I tend to her wounds, she kneads the whole time, as if she’s comforting herself.
