Hey, I’m Scallion 🐾

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking: What a handsome guy! You’re not wrong. With my big, strong build and kind eyes, I’ve been told I’m quite the catch. But looks aren’t everything—I’ve got a heart to match.

I came to FDHS as a dog running at large by the Dog Warden, and for whatever reason, my old family didn’t come back for me. It’s all good, though—I’m ready to find someone new who’ll love me for the big hunky guy that I am.

Here’s the scoop about me: I’ve got an easy-going personality that makes me a pretty chill companion. In my previous home, I lived with a female dog, so I might do okay with the right doggy friend. Mostly, I’m just looking for someone who wants a big, lovable buddy by their side.🐕❤️

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
