My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carrots is a sweet and lovable 3-year-old boy weighing 52 pounds. While he might be a bit shy at first, he quickly warms up and reveals his affectionate and friendly nature. He enjoys going for walks and loves running around in play yards. Carrots has a basic understanding of the "Sit" command but could use some additional training to perfect it. Being a smart and eager learner, he's ready to pick up new skills with a little guidance. Carrots gets along well with other dogs once he has a moment to assess them but might be a bit too cautious for young children who may approach him too quickly. Come meet Carrots and let him charm you with his irresistible adorableness!

Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter

Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
