My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Baby, a sweet girl who was found abandoned in Flatbush, Brooklyn, left overnight on a buckle collar and short chain. Thanks to her amazing rescuers who took her into care, she’s been cared for and loved around the clock.

Baby has never met a stranger and adores people. She'll happily greet you with tail wagging and butt wiggling. While she is a puppy and does need to spend some time each day getting her ya-yas out, she also is a couch potato at heart and loves to join you on the sofa for a movie and a snooze, preferably touching you at all times. This girl also loves her toys and will happily preform all her tricks and learn more if it means more games of fetch!

Like all of us, Baby has some areas she's working on like crate training and being alone for longer periods quietly, but she's improving every day and your work with her will always be rewarded but lots of kisses and happy wiggles.

We're still getting to know Baby but what we know so far:

  • Approx.1 year old.

  • Knows sit, paw, and is eagerly working on more

  • Excited to meet other dogs

  • Very curious about cats, perhaps too curious, but has been around them!

  • Super sweet, loves the car, doesn't mind baths, and took like a champ to leash walks

  • Perfect run companion

  • Housebroken, used to going on leash walks or in a yard

  • Spent her first few days in rescue "working" at Flatbush Vet and hanging with staff :)

  • Baby has some skin allergies and our vet believes with proper nutrition and medicated baths she will heal perfectly! She's already looking fantasitc after just a few days of a no-chicken diet.
