My name is Anne!

Hi I’m Anne and I'm 4 years old! My family says I am the sweetest girl :)  My favorite thing is to curl up in a cozy spot (preferably somebody’s bed) and take a nap. I also like to play with my toys, but I have to be careful because I have a heart condition and if I play too hard or get too excited, it causes me to have seizure-like episodes. 

I’m super sweet and gentle. I do well in and out of my crate and have only had a few accidents. I love meeting new people, but I’m not sure how I feel about other dogs. I get overly excited when I see them and sometimes I bark, but I have not met any since being with my new foster family. I also love riding in the car! I like staring out the window, and then when I am bored of that, I like to curl up in the back seat and take a nap. I know my basic commands, but my family says I’m stubborn because I don’t always like to listen. They also say I’m being dramatic when I give them my pouty eyes. I do okay on walks, but I need to use a harness since I do like to wander and explore and of course if I see a squirrel, rabbit, or another dog, I want to get a closer look!  I would do best with someone who likes to lay around with me and understands my physical limitations. Due to my heart condition, it is hard to predict exactly how much time I have left, but I hope to find someone who is willing to love me and help me live my best life anyway!
