Hi! I’m the lovely Cleo!

HOW OLD ARE YOU?
I am around three years old as of April 2025.

HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?
I weigh 85 pounds.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?
I am an all-around black beauty, with brown eyes and only few white hairs on my chest. I’ve been told I look like a puma, and I am as nimble as a cat too!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT?
I enjoy my kibble and love apples. Overall, I am a very healthy eater!

WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE?
I am outgoing, super friendly, and curious. I LOVE attention, belly rubs for hours, and sleeping next to my humans as they work from home. I very much love being near my humans!

DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY
First, I love to wake up early for a big breakfast. Throughout the day, I like to take naps and play tag. Play time involves chasing my brother, Cairo, around the backyard for a few minutes, chewing on toys, playing tug-of-war games, and splashing in a pool. So mainly food, sleep, and humans make any day perfect!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY?
Oh, I just LOVE my soft cuddly toys. I have so much fun with them!

DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS?
I am very good at sit, down, and shake your hand. When I want belly rubs, I will come out my paw on your arm to let you know.

WHAT SCARES YOU?
I am fearless! Bring it on!

HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN, DO YOU LIKE THEM?
I am naturally very kindhearted and gentle. However, due to my size, a home with older children, or no children, may be a better fit than with small children.

DO YOU LIKE CATS?
I have ignored cats that I have come across while in foster care, so no cats please.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS?
I absolutely LOVE other dogs, big or small!

IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD IT BE?
I love to be with my humans. I am attentive and loyal and make a wonderful companion, if I do say so myself!

HOW IS YOUR HEALTH?
I am strong and healthy.

WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION?
My brother, Cairo and I live with my foster mom, foster grandma, and four other small dogs. I love to play and spend time with my brother, Cairo. My favorite human is my foster mom… she’s got the food and cuddles!

WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?
I am crate trained, so I nap in my trusty crate when I am home alone.

WHERE DO YOU SLEEP?
I will sleep on the office floor during the work day to supervise my foster mother, or on her bed to evaluate her mattress. I also have my crate to sleep in, though it's not my favorite option. Can you blame me?

DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON THE LEASH?
I love love love going on walks!

DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT, FOR INSTANCE DO YOU BARK OR DIG IN THE YARD?
I like to hog the bed during naptime, and I am learning to not jump up for hugs unless asked.

ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED?
Yes, I am house trained.

DO YOU LIKE WATER?
I LOVE water! I love to play in the water and am a good girl about taking a bath.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?
I love the attention I get from my foster mom and the big backyard we have to run and play in! I also love that there are so many comfy places to nap!

WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NOR CAL BULLY BREED RESCUE?
My brother and I were found roaming the streets all by ourselves. We were saved by NorCal Bully Breed Rescue and we are so excited to find forever homes where we can experience love and security again. I would love to meet you and become part of your family!
