This blue-eyed boy is Nemo! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 12/7, and no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Nemo as friendly and easygoing. He has been quiet in his kennel since his arrival, and he walks great on leash! Nemo does know how to sit, but during his photoshoot, he preferred to sniff around. He is inquisitive and loves to explore which is typical of huskies! He is a working breed, so please make sure you have the time and energy to commit to his well-being. Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
