Wade is a 5-year-old, 50-pound Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as his smile. A staff and volunteer favorite, Wade is as sweet as they come and loves making new friends—especially if you have treats!
This well-mannered boy already knows "sit" and "shake" and is eager to learn more, thanks to his food motivation and excellent listening skills. Wade is calm and collected but still enjoys the occasional burst of zoomies in the yard. He’s great with other dogs, though he prefers the company of females, and he keeps a perfectly clean and quiet kennel at the shelter.

Wade’s real superpower? Snuggling! This adaptable guy loves nothing more than curling up next to his people for some quality cuddle time. He’s not jumpy, just a gentle and loyal companion who’s ready to make your home his forever.

His adoption fee is $150  plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. 

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
