Hi Everyone,
My name is Gizmo and I’m a two year old Maltese with a lot of love – and an equal amount of curiosity! I’m playful, friendly and cuddly – and my foster mom says I’m as cute as can be.

My mom also says to tell you I’m special -- in many ways. For example I have one blue eye and one brown eye - and outstanding vision. (You ought to see me chase bugs and catch them: I’m good!) I also have an underbite – so I often look like I’m smiling at you and, in truth, I am because I’m a pretty happy fellow! One of the other things that makes me special is that I know hand signals –I’ve learned quickly to sit, come, stay, yes, no and am working on rolling over and other tricks. I’ve learned these because I am deaf – but that doesn’t stop me! I REALLY communicate!

I love to give doggy kisses, am good walking on a leash, LOVE to play with my red ball for hours. (Mom says I love to throw it in the pool and ask someone to get it for me – and I’m quite convincing! I’m also housebroken – but need reinforcement!

I really want to please and be loved. I ‘m also very observant and protective because I want to take care of my family! I LOVE the great outdoors and am very active. While I have lots of energy I also know how to wind down for snuggles. Mom says I sleep from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am.- and am very loving when I am gently awakened.
