My story

Bo knows handsome! At only 15lbs right now, Bo definitely needs to gain a little more weight, but not too much; just enough to get him to a healthier weight. Bo is a very shy guy, but very sweet with us. He just needs time and a whole lotta love, and he`ll be a terrific companion for somebody! Bo gets along good with the other dogs here, so if you have another we recommend bringing them along for a meet and greet. You may not know Bo just yet, but when you do, he`ll be the greatest pup with the best ears in town!

More about this shelter

Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
