My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stella!

This sweet girl may be mostly blind due to bilateral cataracts, but don’t let that fool you—Stella is incredibly resilient! She can see shadows, which helps her get around well, though she appreciates a little guidance from her humans or foster sisters. While cataract correction may be an option, her adopter can discuss the best course of action with their vet.

Stella would thrive in a calm and patient home where she can take her time adjusting to new people and surroundings. She enjoys observing the world from cozy spots around the house, and her foster mom has set up comfy beds and blankets in her favorite areas.

She loves following her foster sisters, taking cues from them, and playing gentle games like keep-away with toys. Stella also adores chewing on bones, snuggling up with her humans, and soaking up quiet time.

She’s crate trained and potty trained to use puppy pads indoors, as the outside world is still a bit overwhelming for her.

If you’re looking for a loving companion with a gentle spirit, Stella may be the perfect match for you!

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
