Say hello to Grace!
Gracie became a favorite here at PARL the very first time she smiled at us. Gracie absolutely loves people and there’s nothing that makes her happier than making new friends or playing with old ones. Her special little quirk is that she really does smile! It may look like a growl at first but with Gracie’s wiggly body and wagging tail there’s no mistaking how happy and friendly she really is. Gracie was found as a stray so we don’t know her full history. She loves people, would likely do very well with children, and seems to like other dogs as well!

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
